Maintaining the whiteness and brightness of the teeth is important for a glamorous smile. Perhaps a white smile when taking a photo or laughing at a joke boosts a person’s self-confidence. If your teeth have lost their natural color, your teeth can be whitened using safe and effective techniques. Our experienced dentists apply teeth whitening treatment at Milim Dental Hospital so that our guests from all over the world can start a new life with a whiter smile.

Teeth whitening treatments are available using safe and highly effective techniques. Teeth and gums are not damaged by these treatments.

The whitening time of teeth whitening application varies in different application types, such as office type or home type. The whitening process can be applied as 3 different types of processes;

1) Office Teeth Whitening

Office-type teeth whitening is performed by the doctor himself in the clinic. Bleaching gels with an effective rate of 37% and laser light are used together. The whitening process is personally controlled by the doctor. It is a fast and effective method. The desired degree of whiteness is achieved in the teeth after 1 hour.

2) Teeth Whitening at home

Household bleach, bleaching plaques and bleaching gel are used together. First, a special bleaching plate is prepared for the patient. Then the 18% effective whitening gel and the application procedures are explained to the patient, and the patient applies this procedure at home. The amount of gel to be used in teeth whitening and the application time are the points that need to be considered. Excessive application of the gel, prolonging the time, may cause injury to the mouth.

3) Single Tooth Whitening (In-Crown Whitening)

This type of tooth whitening is used to whiten individual teeth when tooth discoloration is caused by internal rather than external factors. In particular, teeth with root canal treatment and anomalies begin to discolor due to an internal factor. In these cases, small cavities in the teeth are opened and the whitening agent is applied at regular intervals (every 3-4 days) and the process is repeated until the color of the tooth reaches the desired point.

Laser bleaching (office tooth whitening) is currently the most frequently used and most effective tooth whitening procedure among the bleaching applications used. Unlike other whitening applications, high energy laser light devices and whitening gel are used together in the laser whitening process. The hydrogen peroxide gel used in office whitening has an effective power of 37% and works with the laser beam as an active ingredient on the tooth surface. During the whitening process, the color layer on the enamel layer of the tooth can be bleached and the shade of the tooth can be permanently lightened by several shades.

Laser bleaching is faster and more effective than household bleaching. It offers long-term durability due to a processing time of one hour. In this way, a whiter and brighter smile is obtained. This procedure can only be used by specialized dentists. The whitening process does not cause any damage to the tooth surface or tooth, but is an extremely safe application.
